N-Trak, developed in 1973, is an International N scale modular layout system. Modules can be 4, 6 or 8 feet long, and from 2 to 3 feet wide. There are three common tracks near the front of each module with an optional, higher Mountain line in the rear.
N-Trak modules allow one to build a "complete" railroad in as little as 2' x 4', to display it publicly, and to run realistic 100+ car trains. Modules encourage model railroading by allowing the beginer to start small and the experienced modeler to try a different form of modeling.
